Is it an interconnected standalone or does the storyline depend on reading the other books? I want to read it so bad because the title sounds like it will rip my heart out. I also want to read the other ones, but especially that one

I read they both die at the end and I do not think I can emotionally handle any of the others

It’s all interconnected and designed to be read in publishing order! You could read it as a standalone if your wanted but you would get so much more out of it if you read them all!

Oh I’ll read them, I’ll just be emotionally distraught. But I guess 90% of the time I read books I am anyways so ( I’m a very very emotional person)
