Julia Quinn is historical, very witty. I liked her rokesby series best. Amanda quick is similar vibes but written in the 90s, more classic body ripper. The love hypothesis is super cute, especially if you’re an academic girl. Meg Cabot’s princess diaries is slow burn but my favorite palette cleanser(jinx by her is also good and short). A company of swans by Eva Ibbotson is gorgeous, one of my favorite books
