Where do feel is the cheapest place to buy books??
I checked out book outlet, but of course the books I want aren’t being sold on there right now
The books don’t even need to be 100% new if there is good used book site, just in good condition
Thrift books, my local goodwill, my local used bookstore, my local library, facebook marketplace, pango (this is hit or miss cause people like to charge too much, but you can find good deals)

Honestly if you have a kindle and the book is old enough ebooks can be really cheap. If it’s a new book it could be 15 dollars but if it’s Jane Austen sometimes it’s literally a dollar

Get kindle books from your local library’s app for free without leaving your couch.

I get a lot of my used books online from eBay tbh

Also Amazon sells used books sometimes that might be on the cheaper side

Plus, this isn’t well-known, but in my state, you can get hooked up to every library’s ebook platform in the state, so the options are endless.

+ look up “books unbanned” there’s a few libraries (Seattle, Boston, etc) that provide library cards to anyone under a certain age, anywhere in the country (to fight book banning)

Honestly, I’m a physical book person, though I have considered getting a kindle. Just not sure how much I would like it

I used to use Hoopla in high school, pretty sure my library card is expired now. I’m just such a physical book person
Will definitely check out the “books unbanned”

That’s so valid and I am the same, but I got a kindle for convenience when I went to college and it’s life changing. Especially since my mom and I share an account, we can each buy books separately but also read each others books, so sometimes it’s basically free
