Depends on the dark romance. If it’s just glorified SA, it’s not for me (though I don’t judge folks for what they read, some ppl process their trauma with dark reads). If it’s a dark setting with a good moving romance plot, then yes pls.

If you like horror plots, I absolutely LOVED the souls trilogy by Harley LaRoux. Very well done consent-focused kink, dark cult town setting, and the romances aren’t bad either (the second book is my fav in that regard, like emotional development and whatnot). For way way cozier vibes, His Unexpected trilogy by Bailey Elizabeth is fun. Demons and mafia setting, but the slow burn romance is so wholesome and sweet (and gets very spicy later in the series).
