My hot take: I hate Looking for Alaska. I hate it so much. I understand now that the characters are young and dumb so they’ll do dumb things, but I read it in early high school and wanted to tear apart almost every character lol

huh interesting. ig maybe one of my core memories was my cousin reading it and complaining about the bj scene to me lmao, but yeah even among people I know who like John green didn’t really like Alaska
