Bro same I haven’t been able to finish a book in like a year cause I do a lot of readings for classes

For me like picking up a book is sometimes such like a task and I find reading ONNN my phone to be a lot easier and something I want to do right before I go to bed. It doesn’t feel as big of a change since you’re still on your phone instead of having to sit up and open a book, atleast for me. I have the kindle app or you can just read books as free EPub files!

yeah and then when I do get in the mood to find some books all im hit with is books that piss me off cause im a majority romance reader and every rec is somehow some way and inclusion of romanticized rape/sa incest pedoohilia grooming and other forms of abuse and i get really aggravated then I get pissed off cause everyone is describing the abuse as angst and spice and hot and then I get mad and im sent further into a slump 😭

nah fr i haven’t read since early summer cause after that i got an internship and now im back in school
