I’m listening to a memoir audio book read by the author, but they read so slow and robot like and I can’t do it😭 I feel bad

I LOVE listening to memoirs that are read by the authors. I recently listened to I’m Glad my Mom Died by Jeanette McCurdy, and it was so good!! Very sad but a really good listen:)

I have a few books saved in my library that I wanted to read and so I started there! What kind of genres are you into? before I recommend some craziness😭😭

Usually a read fiction, thrillers, or mystery, but if it’s a good book and outside of those genres I’d still be interested
