That's great, Steinbeck is easily my favorite author and east of Eden is probably my favorite book of his

It’s probably my favorite of his now too. I had to drive the whole length of the Salinas Valley to get from home to where I went to college and it was lowkey the worst part of the drive so whenever I was getting bored of it I just thought about John Steinbeck novels lol
