Honestly if it’s broken I would just replace it with a newer one. If you’re only using it for books there’s no reason to get a different kind. I just replaced my 2014 kindle with the 2024.

Honestly the basic has been enough for me

It won’t charge and I’ve tried 3 different ones and the last one I bought new to see if it was a cord problem

And facebook marketplace made it easier to find a new one for half the price
