Yes!!! They are VERY different. But the same essence if that makes sense

Yes!! Very different plot wise, but it carries many of the same themes and has some dialogue lifted verbatim. I’m always so impressed with how Mike Flanagan was able to write an entirely different story while staying thematically faithful to the book

I love Mike Flanagan. His other show bly manor. Wasn’t just an adaptation of the turning of the screw, but it was a combination of all of Henry James’s other works too. I’m excited to see what he will do with the Carrie adaptation
