I have a logistics question: I am in the process of packing my room up to move out and right now the most overwhelming part is packing up my books. I have a ton and am thinking of getting rid of some bc space. Any one have any tips on packing them???

Multiple smaller boxes is better than fewer larger ones. Not like needlessly small, still large enough to fit a decent number, but books get heavy fast and your future self will thank you

i’ve had to pack my books in two separate ways bc i put some in storage in my college town and i put those along with boxes/totes full of clothes to distribute the weight evenly. for my full bookshelf at home i just boxed them up normally but still tried to be conscious of their weight so i have about 5 boxes full.

This very much. Milk crates are a great option if you don’t already have boxes and plan to move more than once in your life. Or packing them with things like quilts, stuffed animals, etc that can offset the space to weight ratio.
