I just finished reading the lies of Locke lamora (2006) and was blown away. There’s 3 books in the series and if you like six of crows, the gilded wolves, or morally gray thief/heist stories, I highly recommend. This is def more adulty with complex world building, plot, humor, and language, but zero spice
The Daevabad trilogy by S.A Chakraborty. It’s a middle eastern fantasy that has so much political intrigue and character dynamics. I absolutely loved and flew through the 2nd and 3rd book. The 1st is slow in the first half but in the 2nd part it really kicks up. It got me back into reading and it’s genuinely one of my favorite fantasy series I’ve read.
