Probably when a character loses their personality and backbone when they finally get into a relationship. Feyre I’m looking at you. Also probably cartoon character covers and real people on covers. Slick/Glossy covers also aren’t my thing.

That glossy cover material that just feels weird and shows every fingerprint. The dustjackets suck too, but at least you can take those off while you read

I HATE when books EXPLAIN what’s going on via a clunky monologue versus just letting it be shown through the action and writing. I don’t want to read a full chapter of monologue everytime something “happens”
