Where Is The Mango Princess by Cathy Crimmins is about the authors husband who had a TBI it’s got good depth but the author also makes lighthearted jokes!!

Junie B Jones, Fab Five, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Gerenimo Stilton are some of my favorites because they have the visuals and help with diction. Genuinely just childlike curiosity generating.

My two favorite books from my childrens lit class were the wild robot and confessions of an imaginary friend! The plot had me invested even though it was for kids. Plus I like reading kids chapter books and middle grade when i’m in a reading slump.
