I CANNOT READ A BOOK FROM 3rd POV. I give it a try but after the first chapter it’s just a no for me. even on wattpad, the description is so good, but I read the first chapter and it’s in 3rd POV it just ruins it for me. I can no longer continue to readit

Yeah the said in the comments they prefer 1st with romance and like 3rd for horror. People can have preferences without strangers calling them concerning.

How about “feels less immersive” or “wanting to project themselves more easily onto the character” or even “feeling like the story is being told to them”.

there's nothing wrong with that, immersing yourself into the character, i think the problem comes when you immediately get disinterested. personally, i think writing in 1st person can be a little bit of a cop-out. i also hate it when it's a 1st person POV and they do something completely out of character with no context
