Kinda tired of The Brothers Grimm retellings. I want more eastern cultural retellings or like Celtic or indigenous folklore or stuff like that

it depends on how faithful they are to the original’s not really concept but characterization. if its something like the song of achilles or the wolf and the woodsman i don’t mind, but i am so sick of ‘what if hansel and gretel were SEXY ADULTS and instead of the witch COOKING THEM they BOINKED!’, which come off as the author not giving enough of a shit to put any effort into what theyre writing
