Ngl I didn’t get any humor until I watched an extremely book accurate (exact dialogue) series and it was like omg wait she’s actually funny asf😭😂 I think the dated language comes across very formal so the situational humor is obvious when reading but sometimes the dialogue based jokes did go over my head!
