Yeah, it’s just enough teasing to keep me interested.

this!! it’s the best form of romance. i like books that have all sorts of genres in it so you can enjoy it all :) ignoring the author, that’s why i loved harry potter growing up c i loved mystery books and essentially every book we (i am part of the main characters when i read) were trying to figure something out but there was humor and romance and whatever else so i got to have it all

Not a book but that’s the main reason I like Avatar The Last Airbender so much better than Legend of Korra. It genuinely felt a lot of the time that the romance was the main plot and my ass was NOT interested. 😭

it feels more real to me. i don’t need a book to be realistic otherwise, but i want the romance to feel like it could actually happen. and irl, romance usually takes time and fills gaps between our lives. and it makes moment of them actually being in love or even flirting so much more meaningful to me.

Fr! Me personally it’s because I like books to focus on a wider cast of characters rather than just 2 protagonists. It makes the book a lot more interesting imo.
