Book Club on Yik Yak | Question about Alchemised. I bought it because a lot of people recommend it too me, but… does it get less depressing I’m 100 pages in and I’m definitely wanting to know where it goes but i kinda just want to look up spoilers and then DNF this book?

No…I’m surprised you picked it up in the first place. It’s well known as a very depressing and sad book about war and the trauma people experience during it. I would put it down if you aren’t prepared for much much worse

I haven’t read it but judging on what I’ve heard… no it definitely doesn’t get better

Eeeh, not really. It’s neutral. Heavily traumatized by the end, I can’t really say much without spoiling.
