I read my first (maybe?) historical fiction recently and that part was so good because I found out it was based on a real woman who lived 45 min away from where I live😭

Im glad to see that this isn’t a hot take! I don’t have any reader friends, especially the war books I read so I wasn’t sure what people thought about it
