does anyone else have the issue where they start a series and then go to a new one immediately after (and will “go back” to the other series later)

Wait lowkey when I was younger I would go to bookstores and just buy the first book in a bunch of series and then feel obligated to finish reading the books that I owned so I would never end up going back to any of the series lol. Anyone else do this? Or just me?
