I hate floppy books 😭 why do you like them? I feel like stiff ones stay “like new” for longer and are easier to read while holding with one hand. Floppy ones take more strength to try to tent them into staying open with one hand or they sag down and you have to keep turning to read the whole page.
They stay open by themselves and open wider. You don’t have to strain to see any of the text close to the spine and don’t have to worry about loosening the binding if you accidentally open it too wide. I feel like a creeper peeking into a door crack trying to read stiff books without cracking the spine 😭 I’ve tried relaxing them but they still always crease somehow no matter how careful I am. And they just make me happy. Always give em a little wiggle before reading
