There’s not much you can or really should do. I spoke with mine about fandoms and got her into writing her own fics too. Kids on the internet are bound to find stuff, just make sure she has access to a steady supply of age-appropriate actual books too.

Yeah I know my parents just kept me and keep her crazy sheltered so I don’t want her stumbling on something she has no clue about

Ah yeah same lol. Best thing you can do is try to be there as someone who’ll answer any question without making it weird. And ofc engage her in conversation abt fandoms and the like. Hell, if you have some sfw recommendations you could even send them her way down the line. Giving a kid someone to trust and talk to about these taboo subjects goes a long way in keeping them safe.
