The premise follows the mc who is trying to keep hold of a prayer that can summon a wish dragon. I haven’t read it in a year and I’m like only 40 pages in so that’s like all I remember and also I don’t wanna spoil anything crazy. There’s also the love interest who is tasked with getting the scroll but then grows found of the mc and helps her out.

i haven’t read leah bardugos other grishaverse books tbh because picking up six of crows was a gamble for me because i mostly read horror. but after soc i had to read the second one. but i know there’s at least three others that are in the same universe as soc so i need to read those still

I know so much about the books from my friends but I just haven’t actually read it. Like they are obsessed with her books. I just fixate on like a couple series.

SOC duology is 100% the best of the grishaverse. SAB trilogy was one of Leigh’s first works and they’re not great. I recently loved Ninth House from her
