My dad has a 1968 Porsche 911. Always been one of my favorite cars in his collection, as a kid I lovingly referred to it as “the green car”. He’s the reason I have such an appreciation for vintage and classic cars now 🥰

It lowkey made me jealous like I’ve been a car guy my whole life and best thing I’ve had the opportunity to ride in is a viper, and this guy who isn’t really a car guy just happened to have a neighbor with a 918 in some random suburbs😭

Unfortunately I have 4 older siblings who I will be having to split things with and there are other cars in my dad’s collection I would rather own, particularly my late Grandma’s 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix. Several of my siblings have no particular interest in any of the cars but I’m sure when it comes to the monetary value they’ll be wanting them.

I got a similar story lmao. When I played little league baseball our head coach got divorced and his son was on the team. One day the son was talking about the guy his mom started dating and mentioned he had a car collection. I asked what cars and bro went “idk but my mom said something about a Porsche 918 and she really likes it” 💀

Keep in mind this is right after the 918 came out, so bro must’ve been loaded. In the end tho it’s not like my coach was getting out-played, bro was rich asf and wore creed aventus as his daily cologne
