Right?? Another one people forgot is that he contacted BBC Radio 7 to ask them not to rerun the Doctor Who radio drama Max Warp because he didn’t like the parody they did of him (the entire episode is a parody of Top Gear). Dude, it’s a comedy, chill the fuck out. He also said some other pretty dumb stuff like claiming he had no idea how an engine actually worked and that all electric car batteries would need to be thrown away after 3 years making them pointless (this was in the mid 2010s btw😂)

Yea but then top gear went downhill after he got fired. Hammond and May wouldn’t do the show without him. In the end they landed a deal with Amazon so he really never faced any big consequences with his actions or the getting fired from top gear.
