My bad I forgot that living on my own and working very hard for the money I make along with paying for my own education = daddy’s money. Oh wait he’s never given me a goddamn dime. Ahhh, yep I financed my entire life based upon how much I can afford weekly! No I have a total of 5k in debt that I haven’t paid off because it’s non interest accruing until I graduate. I buy, fix, and sell cars on the side. Using knowledge and tools I have acquired on my own as apart of this hobby.

Fair enough. I would apologize but the fact still stands that it’s not reasonable for many people to have more than one vehicle they can switch too depending on the circumstances. Even shitboxes are expensive now and something new is a horrible investment most of the time

Really the only reason would be a parking constraint if someone lived in an apartment in a large city but then public transit would still be more realistic when its icy, rainy, etc. But owning a car worth more than about 10k means you could afford to own a reasonable cheap daily + something fun. Wouldn’t ever buy something new or on loan that is NEVER a good idea. I’m all for poor financial decisions but ya have to recognize them for what they are. Hope ya have a great night though man!
