The wood in the picture is real, as was a lot of the wood that used to be offered by several brands.

Sorry but no. Most of it is faux suede and plastic. Only the really high end cars have anything real, which didn’t used to be the case.

Alright well most American vehicles used synthetic wood to mimic high class like jag and Bentley. Lexus was said to use bamboo which imo looks cheap

It wouldn’t surprise me if American brands used fake materials. Lexus used real bamboo in some hybrid models, which I agree wasn’t a great look.

That’s how most wood trim is in cars. Nobody puts inch thick slabs of wood in them.
