You put ur heart and soul into earning the money you paid for it. Only natural you feel a piece of yourself lost in that. Just means ur human lol

When you drive a car your brain thinks it’s part of yourself. Same for other tools like pens and pencils

That bond only gets deeper with time. I still have my first car, but it’s getting old and tired. I want to keep it going, but quality parts are getting harder to find. 221k on the clock. Engine and transmission are happy but everything else is starting to rapidly degrade despite replacing almost every suspension component over the last 4 years. I don’t want to get rid of it. The day I do, will be like losing a friend or a pet.
