It’s also just nice and cheap to run. Way less things to wrong mechanically with fewer components as well. I’ve got an 80s f-150, first vehicle plus real useful around the property, but my daily driver is a 2019 Chevy Bolt I bought off my gf’s mom. Gets just over 300 miles give or take on one charge and is super cheap when I charge at my house or any of the free charging stations in my college town.

Also the fact that whenever I go to get it serviced there are far less fees there too. No exhaust or smog checks, nothing with oil, etc.
