 Update: still haven’t gotten any word from the shop. Owner posted a week ago that all orders have been filled, have yet to receive an update on my order, and still no tracking number 😔

 Ordered a downpipe over 2 months ago (Feb 18), and haven’t heard a damn thing from the fabricator other than he “hasn’t started”. I don’t want to be an asshole but wtf man? I gave u $800 and you don’t communicate with me? Anyways, here’s a tunnel pull

Kind of in the same boat. A really reputable Shop came to pick up my car, neglected to tell me a part was on back order, didn’t update me for a month, and then when I called to see if my car was done based on the timeline given work hadn’t even started. That was a month ago and it still isn’t done. Sounds like you’re being given the run around tho

The thing is he’s a very reputable guy. Been in the community 10ish years, and is one of the only shops that make aftermarket parts for these cars. Shit I bought my front mount intercooler from him a year ago, and that went smooth as butter. Idk what changed, but it’s getting to be a little ridiculous

Jesus man that’s genuinely fucked up. This whole situation isn’t THAT big of a deal since I still have my car, and the part I ordered is purely for fun, but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating. Would you be able to source the part yourself if the one they’re “getting” is still on back order?

I called every distributor in the nation. It took days! 😂 Luckily found the lifters I needed and let the shop know. The cam kit and other parts were there when they picked the car up, so this was the only thing left. Also, the car isn’t drivable anyways due to oil pump failure, so that’s why I’m not as upset as I probably should be despite the communication issues. 🤷‍♂️
