to be clear, the account isn’t mine (nor are any of the submissions). but as a little kid i saw a rheumatologist who ended up becoming one of the primary figures behind the legitimization & spread of these specific abusive practices, so i’m deeply personally invested in drawing attention to the subject, and i’ve done a lot of in-depth solo research on facets of it

Thank you for sharing this. I had a horrible experience going through pain clinics, and I’ve gone through many. The idea of going to one still makes me sick and I for so long thought I was the only one as the place was so well regarded. Thank you for sharing this!
