I finally got to a point where I could handle working a full time job and now my shoulder is fucked up and I’ve had two appointments a week for the past two months and they still don’t know what’s causing it. I’m drowning catching up on hours.

MRI was fine, EMG today said it wasn’t a nerve issue, and I’m a month into physical therapy with no change. I’ve tried several treatments and nothing works longer than a day. Typing is the worst trigger and it’s 90% of my job. Meanwhile my doctor works limited hours 20 minutes from my work and the only option for my next follow up is tomorrow at 1pm (I have PT at 4:30 so no working all afternoon) or six weeks out.

I’m having a full meltdown because I’ve spent five years getting myself to a point where I can work and an undiagnosable injury is ruining everything I worked for.

At this point I want to find a new doctor but I’m going to wait six weeks for a new patient appointment. This guy has been so convinced it was a nerve issue despite every other doctor/physical therapist/physician saying it doesn’t sound like a nerve issue. I know he’s gonna tell me tomorrow that I need an mri of my shoulder this time because he was wrong the first time. Just another $150 and more time off work that I can’t afford 🤪
