 Anyone here with AS or arthritis?? Does anyone have any tips on doing injections they hurt so bad for me :(

PsA. Are you using auto injectors or preloaded syringes?

I was on taltz for a little while (then I learned I actually had smth else) and the auto injections hurt like a b. One thing that helped was letting it warm up before injecting. A thing I’ve seen that helps some people is putting something that vibrates (like an electric toothbrush) on your skin near the injection site. It distracts your brain from the actual injection

Sorry! I forgot about this. Some of the auto injectors just suck. Let the pens come to room temp for 45 minutes before injecting. Some people ice the injection site but I don’t think it really helps. I find that thighs are better than stomach. Pinch the skin slightly but don’t squeeze hard. Really let the alcohol dry before injecting.

I was on the old Taltz formula. I’ve heard it’s gotten less painful after they removed the citrate buffer.
