got a referral for a "urgent" appointment with a specialist and they're really taking their sweet time to process it

Urgent means nothing to the schedulers tbh. Tho I have had luck speaking to my dr and him being able to get me booked sooner. But that was after my initial appointment

they did end up getting a doctor on the phone who was able to get me in for a regular exam in two weeks and if they notice something wrong (which they will, because that was the whole point of this) they'll look into it further
