i don’t have PCOS buttt i can tell you that the insertion sucked but once it was in and my uterus got used to it (~2-3 months) i had the lightest easiest periods. it was rlly rlly bad before but i have v light bleeding and almost no cramps now

I was too. It’s different for everyone. I still get periods on mine :( the cramping is def less severe for me. But i feel like there’s an IUD cramp that is like a shock/jolt occasionally? It’s been 7 months for me and while the cramping isn’t as bad, it’s just not doing it for me. Mine makes me angry near my cycle ending too which isn’t good

I don’t have an iud but I do have PCOS. I have a Nexplanon implant in my arm and it does wonders! No periods and very little cramps. Only downside is I get yeast infections very easily and there is soooo much discharge all the time 😭 Other than that I’ve been much happier. I know the insertion process for the iud can be painful but I really hope it’s worth it for you!
