if all you're wanting is to find ancestors, wait for ancestryDNA to go on sale. I just got one for my mom for mother's day for 1/3 of the price. It's not good for medical stuff though.

Oh I had that done. Unfortunately it didn’t connect me with any of my fathers side, but he is full Scottish and I’m not sure how popular it is over there
