
Honestly, I only had one or two that I knew that was internal. Mine I was able to understand that it was from me being stressed out. I was literally tense and clenching every part of my body. I was constipated for 1 to 2 weeks at a time and had about 2 to 3 bowel movements every two weeks. I was incredibly backed up and the pressure was in incredible. That’s what started the beginning of my hemorrhoids. Then it began the stress. I was not able to relax thus increasing symptoms.
I basically have done research on TikTok and have been to the doctor like twice total besides my final appointment today stating that all of the work I’ve done since March has paid off. With my external, I have placed a sugar paste upon them and that is used in the surgical field to take water out of tissue. Applying a pile of sugar to a witch hazel tucks pad for 30 minutes between the cheeks has immensely
Sorry to absolutely blow up your phone, but I was incredibly miserable during this entire process and would give anything to have this advice many months prior. I’m sure you’ve been told to keep your fiber up and all of that stuff. Taking stool softeners the max dose for 4+ days will start to regulate my bowels. Only then, I will start to have normal movements if I ever get constipated. I’ve just accepted that I’m going to need the max dose until I die. I also would recommend suppositories.
They were absolutely terrible to have to do on my own, and I was only able to do them very minimally. I’m very grateful to have such a supportive partner during this time. I would recommend using one of those options to do suppositories. My doctor said using the preparation H with 25% of that P word on the front of the box I can’t remember what it is. That’s gonna be your best bet. Sitting on ice packs as needed and being relaxed and well rested. I hope you get well soon and I apologize for spam
