Anybody else struggle with getting diagnosed? I’m currently in a lot of pain and it flare up and episodes like this can happen at random and after stress or weather changes but every doctor i’ve seen tells me it’s just because i’m autistic?

This is what I’m scared of. I have like a constant dull ache that’s flare up into sharp pains that last a while and I’m terrified of being told it’s nothing…

It took me three years of going to a million doctors before I got diagnosed. You need to be doing everything they’re going to tell you to- drink hella water, eat relatively healthy, the works, or else they’re not going to take you seriously. Write down EVERYTHING. Every symptom, how you feel every day, in DETAIL.

document it. GOD PLEASE DOCUMENT IT. I’m constantly achey with some better when I feel almost normal minus a twinge here and there and some worse days like today where my body hurts and i’m foggy, or the really bad days where It feels like my limbs are burning. Document you’re symptoms and when they happen, if there is a trigger, and go to the doctor with it all documented. That’s your best chance

Yeah I never know how to describe what the ache feels like, I think describing it as my bones grinding together makes sense in my head but I don’t know if that’s accurate, and it’s pretty much constant. I’m not sure what causes it to be sharp pains though that seems to happen randomly

that’s so real, I’ve been describing mine as burning and trying to explain how my pain feels is really difficult when you do know how the doctor thinks about the pain
