Forgot to take POTS meds, accidentally left my medical bag at home, and have to stand all day. Delightful.

I take propranolol and low dose naltrexone. Beta blockers such as propranolol and metoprolol are very common. There’s also calcium channel blockers like diltiazem, alpha 2 agonists like clonidine and guanfacine, midodrine to help constrict blood vessels, mestinon which helps muscle engagement, florinef and desmopressin to support higher blood volume, and whatever the heck ivabradine is that targets heart rate directly.

Stimulants are also sometimes used for brain fog and fatigue and can help POTS symptoms by promoting vasoconstriction but make other people worse (though that’s the case with most meds especially those like beta blockers that affect blood pressure)
