It’s not really any different than a lot of the syndrome diagnoses. It’s a label for a set of symptoms. While people with EDS may have symptoms you don’t, HSD can still cause severe symptoms and diminished quality of life. It still qualifies as a chronic illness and as a disability if it disables you. You’re valid/allowed to be in these spaces ❤️

I mean yeah I got it diagnosed because it’s a comorbidity with my autoimmune condition but I don’t have eds which made it hard to decipher which symptoms belong to what
