Natural fibers. It’s worth it to invest in a few sturdy and effective pieces that will last not just all winter, but probably the rest of your life if you take care of it. And i recommend a good all weather parka or something similar so when you do have to wear a coat it’s one simple layer that can be quickly removed and will keep you dry, so you can STAY warm

I don’t know if leggings are comfortable for you with your allodynia, but I wore fleece lined leggings in Sweden during the winter. Those, wool socks, proper boots, and long winter coat kept me warm.
