as in they decided it was perfectly fine to expose themselves and other to a deadly and disabling virus because it “only does that to disabled/high risk people” which isn’t true at best and is eugenics rhetorics at worst.

It’s not eugenics that people are getting fed up with having to cover their face all the time. It isn’t about wanting to expose people. Masks can be really difficult for some people to wear full-time. Like I get why you’re upset about it, and I think people should mask in highly populated public areas, but I really don’t get how it’s eugenics.

Like I’m also disabled/chronically ill, and really it’s our responsibility to protect ourselves bc no one else can or will.

I’m getting downvoted for agreeing people shouldn’t mask in public? I just don’t understand how you can call it eugenics when that’s not the reason most people want to unmask
