I stopped smoking just to prove that that wasn’t the cause of mine. And to everyone’s surprise, except me, my pain was the same if not worse

aye my doctors told me i was dying from cannabis but it was undiagnosed celiac disease and them convincing me, even though it made no sense, delayed my diagnosis by at least 6months!

if u smoke or vape anything your risk of hemorrhaging increases so maybe they thought that’s how you were consuming it.

Unfortunately i know thats not how it was, they didnt even begin to explore the hemorrhaging until j asked got them to do a ct on my abdomen, originally their diagnosis was cannabis hyperemesis syndrome:(

Drs like to forget the CHS is a diagnosis of exclusion (like fibromyalgia) they are supposed to check other conditions that have similar symptoms first. Like they shouldn’t give that diagnosis if they didn’t do any testing or imaging first. Like if I go in with chest pain, they need to do an ecg and/or chest X-ray before they can say it is just anxiety
