 Fighting with my doctors that preserving my fertility is NOT a concern is SO frustrating 😭 like why would I prolong my suffering to preserve fertility for a few years at most?! Stop acting like I’m going to sue you for “doing harm” WHEN ILL NEVER BIRTH

Why are drs like this. It’s my body, if I don’t want reproductive organs (for whatever reason health or otherwise) than I should be able to have them removed without fighting everyone who thinks I MIGHT want to give birth (I DO NOT)

While it’s partially on them ofc, this is mostly an insurance issue. They won’t approve shit that has a whisper of long term potential (benefits or consequences)

Nope! My insurance has 100% given the go ahead. I have it scheduled already but my mom demanded I get a second opinion and she be there at the appointment and everything and the other doctor wants to preserve my fertility

My insurance would actually be paying less with the hysterectomy than any other option
