as someone with chronic fatigue i feel amazed watching people on social media do hard things for hours with no breaks. i forget that i used to be able to do that too many years ago. i was a fucking machine. creating atp like nobody’s business

Felt, I was so active in middle school. I did track & cross country, horseback riding, mountain biking and swimming. High school the fatigue started I slowly stopped doing things and now I’ve missed 3 years of college and can barely work a shift a week

i did cross country too!! but the last time i went for a run it put me in the hospital. i went from running 6 miles a day to not being able to stand, walk, or lift my arms. so wild to think i used to do all that on top of school for 8 hours a day and homework. i’m sorry that you can relate to me 💔 fatigue is horrible

I understand, it’s super defeating. I also tend to have a really hard time getting my friends to understand my level of fatigue.

people who haven’t experienced it have no idea what it’s like when it hurts to move. i’m so sorry your friends aren’t more empathetic.
