Chronic Illness on Yik Yak | Anyone else have their period cramps trigger their IBS? I’m on birth control to help calm them, but had to quit it suddenly due to side effects. Quitting triggered my period to come back off-cycle, and I am in hell. 😭

I don’t have IBS, but period poops (diarrhoea on your period) are a normal thing, so it could be either normal period poops, or it could be that your IBS is making it worse

Trust me, the first two days of my period, I probably spend more of my waking hours on the toilet than not (that’s an exaggeration, but still. Hours.) That shit sucks 😭😭
