my dad told me to always rate it higher than it actually is in order for doctors to do something about it

That’s what I’ve learned to do, I used to be like “but it doesn’t hurt that bad so like a 1” now everytime I’m like “if I was normal this probably would be a 3-5”

exactlyyyy. i have a high pain tolerance so my 5 is a 7 at the very least
