Does anyone else experience this weird thing where their legs feel heavy and stiff-like and you walk with a slight shuffle, but the second compression socks or sleeves are put on everything is normal?

I get that but I haven’t tried compression socks yet. I basically never see blotchiness or swelling tho so idk

blood pooling CAN be normal ish, just depends on the extent/ your activity level. building muscle in my legs helps so so much with blood pooling for me!!

No, my legs look normal, occasionally my knees will swell a lil- but I’ve had that since childhood. It also comes with a dull pulsing pain sometimes

I have been losing a lot of weight, and have low blood pressure. So that makes sense

hm, interesting! is there any warmth in that area when you notice it? that sounds more inflammatory/ like arthritis or something… only asking bc im an EMT in training and this stuff interests me😭

ahhh okay yeah, could very well still be blood pooling! the mottled skin is much more common in people who have eds anyways, but IMO your knees swelling and the dull pulsing pain sounds like a separate (but related) issue- I’d def see a rheumatologist if u can! i get something similar with my arthritis :P and circulation issues can make it a little worse

I think it’s a separate issue that the pooling might worsen. I’ve always had pain in my knees, they’re a bit hyper-mobile. But that’s the only joint I have it in. I see a new rheum next month, hopefully they have answers

Currently I have no compression socks, my old ones shrunk lol. But I have these full leg sleeves from a brand called copper compression on amazon that are decent (except the one definitely sleeve I got)
