I’m in school to be a music educator, specifically elementary. I’m beginning to worry that my random debilitating flare ups and weak immune system are going to make being an educator impossible. How can I teach music when I can’t give consistent support?
I also have a weak immune system and was working early education and how to quit due to how often I was getting sick— maybe try online teach or private lessons like the other comment suggested

I’m in school to teach independent singing lessons. Maybe you can do something like that but like have your own practice where you can teach classes on your own schedule?

^seconding this to say there are a lot of online charter schools that do remote teaching through programs like zoom and blackboard, I’ve heard they also tend to have better pay
